Firstly, on behalf of parents, I would like to thank the Thai department for another great Loy Kratong Festival. A great day was had by all. Well done to Henny and Fongnam, the wonderful MC's!
Thank you to all parents who not only came to the school to make kratongs, helped the dancers with their make-up etc but also to those who ran stalls and made a fatastic amount of money to go towards teaching materials for the Thai department.
I will let you know what items have been purchased at the next Parent Representative meeting on 9th December.

Loy Kratong
Just to remind Parents and Guardians that it is Loy Kratong day at Charter on Friday 19th November.
Once again the Thai Department have been working really hard to ensure that the day is full of fun events for parents and their children.
I hope you can come along and join in with Kratong making and all the other activities. This is also a great opportunity to meet new teachers and new parents. Please check the school calendar for a list of events or the letter from the Thai Department distributed earlier this week.

I am very happy to be the Parent Representative on the School Board for this Academic Year.
The main purpose of my role is to present your ideas and thoughts to the School Board.
If you have any ideas or matters that you would like to discuss, I am in school most mornings at line up or if you would like to make an appointment you can email me parentrep@charter.ac.th and I would be happy to meet you at a time convenient to you.
I will be holding Parent Representative Meetings which is a great way to meet other parents/carers and a time for expressing your ideas and comments. The first meeting will be on Thursday 28th October 2010 at 8.15am in the Ballroom. Further details will follow. A translator will be available. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. I Look forward to seeing you there.
